内容简介(中文) 蓝地设色织。山果悬枝,麻雀一只栖息枝叶上,本幅色彩鲜丽,对比强烈,运用蓝与金黄色相搭配,尤其醒目。构图似宋代花鸟册页,然并不专注写实,如山果似黄橙,然叶子却又不像,山果之造形与叶脉之钩勒,具图案化,对称中富有趣味。刻织精密,作风沈静写实。本幅为「镂绘集锦册」第七幅。(童文娥)
内容简介(英文) The multiple colors of silk thread in this tapestry stand out against the blue silk background. A branch with ripe pomegranates leans diagonally through the composition with a sparrow sitting in the middle. The greatest contrast in colors lies between the golden yellow and blue, making for an appealing design. The focus on representing the motifs is not on realism, as seen in the unusual shape of the pomegranate and stark veins of the leaf. Yet, this work still conveys a decorative sense and the essence of prosperity as suggested by the fruit with its many seeds. This is the seventh leaf from the album Lou-hui chi-chin ts’e.
内容简介(中文) 蓝地设色织。一株枝垂倒地的果树,结实累累,树叶繁密,石榴金黄香甜垂涎欲滴,一只麻雀伫立枝头。本幅运用为蓝与金黄色彩相互搭配,对比强烈。织工并不注重写实,构图简练,极富生趣。缂工稳健紧密,技巧纯熟,经纬线的位置亦互换,经线横置,纬线则为纵向。在颜色层次的掌握上,灵活多变,用小梭缂织,并利用「掺和戗」的晕染配色法,表现细腻的深浅层次变化,倍觉精神。
内容简介(英文) The weaving in colors against a blue background here depicts a tree branch laden with ripe fruit, the enticing scent of golden pomegranates bursting forth and attracting a sparrow to perch among them. This work features a combination of blue and golden yellow threads that create a dramatic contrast. The tapestry weaver, however, did not pay as much attention to realism, such as the shape of the pomegranates, but the succinct composition makes for an interesting image nonetheless. The tapestry weaving is still firm and compact, the technique well versed. The reversal of the warp and weft threads meant that the warp was arranged horizontally and the weft vertically. The control of color layers is agile and varied by means of a small shuttle. The color wash method known as “join propping” expresses subtle variations to the layers of light and dark colors, thereby enhancing the spirit of the work. This is the seventh leaf in the album “Collected Brocade of Carved Paintings.”
