内容简介(中文) | 黄庭坚(公元一0四五-一一0五年),江西分宁人。字鲁直,号山谷、山谷道人、涪翁。治平四年(一0六七)二十三岁进士,作过县尉、校书郎、起居舍人、国史编修、知州等官。 他的书法初学周越,下笔沉着有法度,其后大字行书取法瘗鹤铭,草书师张旭、怀素,用笔富于顿挫起伏,结体倾侧多姿,独具面貌。本幅书尺牍一则,以圆笔藏锋书之,劲健婉通,粘滞有力。 此幅为「宋四家法书」卷之三。 |
内容简介(英文) | Huang T’ing-chien (style name Lu-chih; sobriquet Fu-weng) was a native of Fen-ning, Kiangsi. He received his chin-shih civil service degree in 1067 at the age of 22 and held such offices as District Defender, Editor, Imperial Diarist, Historiography Compiler, and Prefect. In calligraphy, Huang T’ing-chien initially studied under Chou Yueh (fl. 1023-1048) and his brushwork was calm and steady, quite in accord with established rules. Later, Huang used the I-he ming inscription as his model for large character calligraphy and took the styles of Chang Hsu (ca. 700-750) and the monk Huai-su (ca. 735-800?) as models for his cursive script. Huang’s brushwork is full of pauses as it meanders, and the forms of the characters lean strongly in many different poses, thus giving the calligraphy a unique appearance. This piece is written with round and centered brushwork; it has power yet grace while being unsteady yet strong. |
