| 内容简介（中文） | 吴荣光（一七七三~一八四三），原名燎光，别号荷屋，广东南海人，嘉庆四年进士，中试之后改定今名。历任翰林院编修、监察御史、湖南巡抚等官职，而于道光年间罢官归里，潜心著述，所作《筠清馆金石文字》，可以知其好尚。吴氏从学阮元、翁方纲，与后者情谊在师友之间，此幅书联：「询道求中志在守璞，资忠履信思若有神」，笔法与翁方纲取径相同，均见欧楷根柢。(20120409) |
| 内容简介（英文） | Wu Rongguang (original name Liaoguang, sobriquet Hewu), a native of Nanhai in Guangdong, became a Presented Scholar in 1799, taking the name Rongguang (meaning “Glory”). As an official, he served in such posts as Compiler in the Hanlin Academy, Investigating Censor, and Governor of Hunan. Relieved of office in the Daoguang era, he returned home, devoting himself to writing and his Bronze and Stele Characters of the Yunqing Hall demonstrating his achievements. Wu studied under Ruan Yuan and Weng Fanggang, having a close relationship with the latter. The brushwork in this couplet on seeking the Way is identical to Weng Fanggang’s study of the Classics, clearly showing their roots in the regular script of Ouyang Xun.(20120409) |
