A photograph of a typical Tibetan stone built home with stable and store on the ground floor and living quarters above usually reached via a ladder.
Part of a collection of 81 loose black and white photographs taken by Fleming Mackenzie while serving in Tibet in 1938-1939. From the Collections of Lieut.-Col. Fleming Mackenzie, donated by his daughter Mrs Ann O’Neill in 2022.
