| 内容简介（中文） | 许仪（公元一五九九－一六六九年），江苏无锡人。字子韶，号歇公，又号顾影子。李采石之甥，画得其传，有出蓝之誉。山水人物界画及花鸟虫鱼，无一不精。 画丛荷卓然挺立于水中，花形硕美，碧叶丰鲜，采勾勒填彩法成之。花筋叶脉皆勾画细谨，白粉、石青的局部敷染，重而不滞，呈现芙蕖妍丽娇美之姿。本幅右下角有二方作者许仪的钤印。 |
| 内容简介（英文） | Hsu I, the nephew of the artist Li Ts’ai-shih, followed his uncle’s style, but became even more famous. Hsu excelled at most subject matter, such as landscapes, figures, ruled-line architecture, birds-and-flowers, and grasses-and-fish. In this work, stately lotuses rise straight up from the water below. Their gorgeously full blossoms and verdant leaves appear vividly fresh and luxurious. They were first outlined with brushstrokes and then filled with washes of color. The veins of the leaves and blossoms were delicately outlined and washed with white and blue to make them solid, but not heavy. The artist rendered the elegant beauty and poise of the lotus.
