| 内容简介（中文） | 王鉴生于明万历二十六（公元一五九八）年生，卒于康熙十六（公元一六七七）年。江苏太苍人。字圆照，号湘碧，自称染香庵主，为王世贞之孙。官至廉州知府。精通画理，山水为清四大家之一。本册画于顺治十七年（一六六０），作者六十二岁，正为摹古功力最精湛之时。全册笔墨秀润，临仿诸家，不求表面形似，而神气彷佛，韵致高雅。 |
| 内容简介（英文） |
Wang Chien was a native of T’ai-ts’ang in Kiangsu. His tzu (style name) was Yuan-chao and his hao (sobriquets) Hsiang-pi and Jan-hsiang an-chu. He was a grandson of the scholar-artist Wang Shih-chen, and held office as Prefect of Canton. He was a most expert painter, being considered one of the Four Wangs of the Ch’ing dynasty for his landscapes. This album was painted in 1660 when the artist was sixty-two years of age. This was the period of his greatest achievement in the imitation of the ancient masters. The brushwork throughout the album is highly refined. The artist has sought no surface similarity with his ancient models, but an inner consonance. |
